I am 5 foot 2 inches, pear shaped and bought a size 22. This is a maxi dress on me. The material is silky but not too shiny and drapes in a very flattering way. It is a deep purple, slightly more purple than the aubergine colour on my monitor. This is a dress that is a joy to put on. The structured shoulder and cinched waist helps to create a shapely hourglass figure whilst skimming over the tummy area. The neck is low but doesn't quite show any cleavage on me, I am OK with that for the evening, I wouldn't necessarily want it that low for daytime.
